We’ve returned to Lilyfield and are running our chocolate and perfume-making workshops from our refurbished custom venue.
It’s great to be back!
In 2022 we had a fire at the Kimberley Chocolates premises. The fire was caused by an electrical fault and thankfully nobody was hurt. There was some damage to our building and equipment from heat and smoke.
Discover the secrets of chocolates with chocolatier Joseph Atallah.

My partner and I had such a fantastic time with Joseph and the class. Everyone was so enthusiastic and we could definitely tell that all of us were coming back for another class. It also helps that the chocolate is to die for! — MAXINE
We had such a good time! A bit of knowledge and laughter and the chocolates are just divine. The fillings were so yummy! — NADINE
Fantastic day out and came home with quite the haul of chocolate 🙂 — SEAN
The fresh cream truffles were a marvel - the fillings so light and airy and delicious...but it was the enrobed chocolates that were my favourite: the double enrobing providing a stark contrast between the thick wall of dark chocolate and the delicate melting ganache centre within. My personalised flourishes to each chocolate were the highlight of course. — GRAB YOUR FORK
Four hours flew past, and by home-time we each had a box to take home containing close to a kilo of handmade chocolates... And whilst we may be no closer to becoming professional chocolatiers, we undoubtedly became even bigger fans of chocolate and all its sensory pleasures. — GRAB YOUR FORK
Had the best time making my own chocolates! Such lovely hosts, it went at a good pace and considering I'm more of a savoury snack lover, these chocolates have certainly caught my attention. I thought I'd only have one or 2 and share the rest but after having one, I'm feeling a little more selfish and protective over them! — Djurica
Hello Joseph, Thank you so much for your workshop! It was amazing! All my chocolates are gone! My dad enjoyed them the most, I only got to eat one! Your workshops are fun, friendly and most of all delicious. Your handmade chocolate that we used as a base is the best chocolate I've ever tasted. The one-on-one time you gave each of us, the education and the humour really made your class one to remember. — Suja
We wanted to thank you for such a lovely, warm, delicious, and wonderful experience we had at the chocolate workshop. Not only was the chocolate one of a kind, so were you and Connie. We had a ball with you both as well as the other chocolate enthusiasts! Looking forward to our next encounter, so happy to have discovered your beautiful shop-one of Sydney's best kept secrets! — Alia, Fatima and Parisa
Hi Joseph, just wanted to give you a BIG THANK YOU! and tell you we couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable time. Your cooperation and amazing attitude was marvellous, the presentation and history on chocolate was fabulous and I don't think we'll ever forget the Rose Petal Hot Chocolate! OMG, brings tears to my eyes even thinking about it! We're very spontaneous, so you will see bunch of loud girls and boys rocking up at your chocolate shop from now on! Again thanks for the beautiful hens night it’s a night we’ll never forget. — Parya
